Using DOMShot
DOMShot provides tools for capturing individual elements from webpages. You may use the extension, local agent package, and hosted MCP service only in compliance with applicable law, these terms, and the rules of the website you capture.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the URLs, selectors, instructions, and content you provide. Capture only pages and content you are authorized to access and reproduce. Do not use DOMShot to bypass access controls, collect secrets, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, overload a service, or cause harm.
Hosted Service Limits
The hosted MCP service is limited to public HTTPS webpages. It does not accept credentials, cookies, tokens, private-network addresses, local files, Chrome profiles, or signed-in browser sessions. Automated limits may restrict request size, capture size, frequency, concurrency, and duration to protect the service.
Your Content
You retain any rights you have in the material you submit and the captures produced for you. You grant DOMShot only the limited permission needed to fetch, process, and return that material for the requested capture. DOMShot does not claim ownership of your captures.
Availability
DOMShot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be rate limited, or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, no warranties are made about uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or the legal status of content you capture.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DOMShot. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
